Who We Are

History of CVL

CVL Consultants of Colorado was founded in the year 2000 by multiple members of our current senior management team. We have been working together for decades to lead a service oriented professional civil engineering consulting and professional surveying services firm dedicated to the success of our clients. Over the years, we have added high level entrepreneurial professionals from the survey, land development design and public works realms to bring immediate expanded positive impact to CVL. Today CVL has over 45 engineers, surveyors and designers creating economical and expeditious designs to drive our clients’ visions forward to achieve their visions of highly functional and innovative projects.

Our philosophy

We care about our clients’ successes. We work hard to provide continuous focus to ensure that we deliver consistent proactive services in collaboration with the other members of our clients’ teams. We empower our staff to bring new ideas to our project approaches and design processes and we value what each individual adds to the overall chemistry and capabilities of our team. CVL is dedicated to our staff members and the career growth of each individual. We are proud of our team and want them to achieve their professional and financial goals. We provide learning opportunities both inside and outside of CVL so that our understanding of the industry is far reaching and current.

STAFF FUN!

CVL believes that fun is an important part of who we are! Typical occasional company activities include Rockies and Avalanche (in support of the Home Builders Foundation) games, company picnics, bowling, and our annual holiday party. The staff also conducts impromptu 4-wheel drive adventures, backcountry ski days, ultimate frisbee games and has been known to congregate at one of Colorado’s microbreweries now and again. Our mutual respect environment has created and facilitated some great friendships. We enjoy each other’s company.
